Head of the Government Media Office in the Gaza Strip, Salamat Ma'roof, stated that he has received numerous reports and appeals regarding the presence of hundreds of bodies in the streets in various areas of Gaza City – all for martyrs who attempted to reach the alleged ‘safe passage’ or sought shelter from the airstrikes last night.

Gaza’s residents now take over three to four hours to acquire necessities such as bread and water as severe shortages of essentials continue.

Ma'roof added Monday that the accusations concerning the fuel shortage in Gaza are aimed at justifying the Israeli Occupation's continued plan of starvation and destruction of all essentials of life in the Strip.

The evacuation orders propagated by the Israeli Occupation through leaflets, social media and other forms of communication are evidence of the Occupation’s crimes and do not absolve it of guilt, he added, due to the bombing of civilians on roads leading south of the Strip.
