Telecommunication companies operating in the Gaza Strip have announced the gradual restoration of communication services (landline, mobile and internet) in Gaza.

This comes after the services were disconnected by the Israeli Occupation across the Strip

Palestinian Minister of Communications, Issa Sider, had appealed to Egypt to expedite the activation of communication stations near the Gaza border and to activate roaming services.

Sider stated, "We have no choice but to operate communication in the Gaza Strip through Egypt, in a critical situation that cannot bear a loss of communication."

All communication and internet services were completely cut off in the Gaza Strip, according to the Palestinian Telecommunication Company, for the second time.

The company stated in a statement that the disruption was caused by the disconnection of international routes, which had previously been reconnected.
