12 Palestinians killed in 'Israeli strike' on Al-Fakhura School in Gaza

The spokesperson for the Ministry of Health in Gaza said Saturday that 12 Palestinians were killed and over 54 were injured as a result of the targeting of the Al-Fakhura school, according to preliminary figures.

Medical relief teams have been working to evacuate the wounded following the Israeli Occupation's shelling of the displaced at the school.

Thomas White, the director of UNRWA, confirmed that Israeli Occupation Forces directly targeted five of the agency's facilities, resulting in over 50 of their structures being affected.

The UN agency stated that approximately 695,000 displaced individuals are residing in 149 facilities across different areas in the Gaza Strip.

Furthermore, UNRWA noted that 72 of its staff members have been killed in Gaza.
