Palestinians protest at Egyptian Embassy in Ramallah urging Rafah Crossing opening
A group of Palestinians held a protest Thursday outside the Egyptian embassy in the city of Ramallah.
Demonstrators called for the urgent opening of the Rafah crossing to transport the wounded from the continuous Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) shelling on the Gaza Strip.
The Palestinian Crossings and Borders Authority announced that another group of foreigners with dual nationalities will leave for Egypt via the Rafah crossing Thursday.
The Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that it is working on receiving and evacuating around 7,000 foreign citizens from over 60 countries through the Rafah crossing.
Hundreds of foreigners with dual nationalities, along with dozens of injured Palestinians, crossed from Gaza to Egypt via the Rafah crossing Wednesday.
