Hamas denies Israeli Occupation allegations of leader presence at Shifa Hospital in Gaza
Hamas has responded to the claims made by the Israeli Occupation army regarding the presence of Hamas leaders beneath Al-Shifa Hospital in the Gaza Strip.
Hamas described these allegations as "misleading and false propaganda," with the movement asserting that all of its leaders are at their respective homes, not in hospitals.
They also criticized the indiscriminate killing of children and women by the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) and emphasized that the resistance continues to actively manage the ongoing aggression.
Hamas further accused the Israeli Occupation of destroying infrastructure in the Gaza Strip, particularly homes and hospitals, and stated that the occupation is constructing a series of false claims to bolster its narrative.
Izzat Al-Rishq, a leader of the Hamas movement, firmly rejected the IOF's allegations, characterizing them as baseless and part of a pattern of lies employed by the occupation. He expressed concern that these falsehoods may precede a new massacre against the Palestinian population, particularly those seeking refuge at Al-Shifa Hospital following displacement caused by bombings.
Rishq called on leaders of Arab, Islamic, and global nations to take action to prevent further acts of genocide against the Palestinian people.
- Israeli Occupation's claims -
The Israeli Occupation army had threatened to bomb Al-Shifa Hospital, claiming that Hamas leaders were located there and that the hospital concealed underground tunnels used by Hamas for protection.
The army also alleged that hospitals in the Gaza Strip held fuel used by Hamas for its infrastructure, accusing the organization of "stealing" fuel from UNRWA and employs it for destructive purposes.
It was claimed that Hamas maintained a substantial fuel stock exclusively for its own purposes, with its central command allegedly situated beneath Al-Shifa Hospital.
