Severe burns, skin melting injuries among victims of 'Israeli Shelling'

The spokesperson for the Palestinian Ministry of Health, Ashraf al-Qudra, stated that in the past twenty-four hours, the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) committed 23 massacres, resulting in the deaths of 436 martyrs, including 182 children, with the majority from the southern Gaza Strip.

Qudra added in a press statement Monday that 597 massacres were committed by the IOF against families in the Strip, resulting in 3,813 martyrs, noting that the majority are still under the rubble.

He pointed out that the Ministry of Health received 1,500 reports of missing persons still under the rubble, including 830 children.

Medical teams are facing extreme difficulties due to severe burn injuries and skin melting that they have not seen before on the bodies of the wounded, making it challenging to deal with.

He called on international institutions to disclose the nature of the weapons used in causing skin-melting injuries and to urgently provide the necessary treatments.
