'Israeli army' targets 18 mosques, church in Palestine
The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) continued their airstrikes on various areas, directly targeting innocent civilians and residential neighborhoods, as well as mosques and a church in the Gaza Strip.
The following mosques were targeted: Yarmouk Mosque, Ahmed Yassin Mosque, Al-Gharbi Mosque, Abbas Mosque, Al-Sosi Mosque, Ishteiwi Mosque, Katib Walaya Mosque, Sheikh Shaaban Mosque, Shama'a Mosque and the Islamic University Mosque.
Additionally, the following mosques were targeted: Habib Muhammad Mosque in Khan Younis, Saad al-Ansari Mosque in Beit Lahia, Imam Ali Mosque in Jabalia Camp, Al-Aqsa Martyrs Mosque in Nusairat, Amri Mosque in Jabalia City, Anwar Aziz Mosque in Jabalia Camp and Fatima Al-Zahra Mosque in Zahraa City.
The Orthodox Roman Church of St. Porphyrius, near the Katib Walaya Mosque in Gaza, was also targeted in Thursday's shelling.
The Ministry of Interior in Gaza announced that around 50 people, mostly women and children, were present in the church building at the time of the attack.
