'We hold around 200 Israeli captives': Abu Ubaida

Abu Ubaida, the spokesperson for the Al-Qassam Brigades, stated that the Israeli Occupation has been used for 70 years to commit massacres against Palestinians.

He added that the Israeli Occupation is attempting to cover up its dismal failures.

"The enemy deliberately launched a barbaric and brutal aggression against our people instead of confronting the fighters," he said.

Abu Ubaida said that Al-Qassam Brigades has at least 200 captives from the Israeli Occupation soldiers and settlers in Gaza, adding that there are 22 captives who were killed by the occupation’s bombing of Gaza.

Operation Aqsa Typhoon, launched by Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, continues for the tenth consecutive day in response to Israeli Occupation violations in the occupied Palestinian territories, which have been ongoing for decades.

In retaliation, the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) has launched a campaign against the Gaza Strip, conducting a series of airstrikes in various areas.

Later Monday, the Al-Qassam Brigades posted a video on their Telegram channel, showing their members providing medical care to one of their captives in the Gaza Strip. This captive was captured on the first day of Operation Aqsa Typhoon.
