Safadi: Jordan, entire region fear 'expansion of Gaza war'

Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi stated Sunday that delivering humanitarian aid to Gaza is "crucial."

The Foreign Minister affirmed to Al Jazeera that Jordan, in its current diplomatic tour, will emphasize that there is no alternative to fulfilling the rights of the Palestinian people. He further explained that His Majesty the King is undertaking a diplomatic tour to underscore the need to halt the war on Gaza.

He pointed out that Jordan and the entire region are apprehensive about the war's escalation, and it is imperative to stop it and support the Palestinian people.

He clarified, "The Palestinians are no less human than the Israelis, and this is what the world must realize. We will not allow a scenario where Palestinians are displaced from their land; this is a red line for us."
