Syrians mourn victims of Homs Military College drone attack
Syrians came together on Friday to mourn the victims of a drone attack that struck the Military College in Homs. The attack occurred immediately after an officers' graduation ceremony, claiming the lives of numerous soldiers and their family members.
The families of the victims gathered outside the military hospital in Homs, where funeral services were held for approximately 30 of those who lost their lives.
The incident unfolded on Thursday evening when drones targeted the courtyard of the Military College during the graduation ceremony, causing widespread panic among attendees.
Official statistics report that the attack resulted in the tragic loss of over 100 lives. However, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has documented an even higher toll, with 123 casualties, including 54 civilians, among them 39 minors and a woman with ties to officers.Additionally, approximately 150 individuals sustained injuries in the devastating attack.
