Firefighters extinguish bus fire near Hiteen College in Amman

A video circulated across social media platforms Wednesday showing a bus engulfed in flames near Hiteen College in South Amman.

The video showed the vehicle completely consumed by the fire, which firefighters from the Civil Defense Directorate (CDD) immediately responded to and extinguished.

Fortunately, there were no reported injuries, according to eyewitnesses.

In a separate incident, the Public Security Directorate (PSD) reported a redirection of traffic for vehicles coming from Airport Road towards the Seventh Circle due to a vehicle fire on the loop of the intersection heading towards the Nahda roundabout.

The Central Traffic Department urged all drivers to seek assistance from the PSD, should the need arise, by calling the emergency number (911).
