A teenager tragically lost his life while attempting to recreate a stunt, hanging from a tree branch in Tafilah.

A close source to the investigation revealed details about the incident saying that th 13-year-old accidentally ended his own life while playing with his seven-year-old sister in the backyard of their home.

In an attempt to mimic a stunt, he used a head covering to suspend himself from a fig tree branch and swing.

Unfortunately, he lost his balance and consciousness, which led to his death.

The teen told his sister that he could hang from a fig tree branch and swing, then proceeded to tie a head covering to the branch and loop it around his neck while keeping his feet stable between the wall and the tree.

However, he lost his balance suddenly, remaining suspended in front of his sister, unconscious.

The sister hurried to their house, seeking assistance from her mother and family, who rushed to the tree.

They managed to cut the head covering, but he was already lifeless.

He was then transported to a nearby hospital in Tafilah, where he was pronounced dead.

An autopsy was performed at the Forensic Medicine Department at the Karak Government Hospital.

The report confirmed no signs of violence or injuries on the body, except for a mark indicating pressure on the neck.

The cause of death was attributed to suffocation resulting from a constricting ligature around the neck.

The specialized prosecutor has initiated an investigation into the incident to ascertain the cause of death.
