A 36-year-old man passed away due to an electric shock while he was filling the water tank at his residence in the Al-Eis area of Tafilah Governorate, revealed a security source.

The incident occurred on Sunday evening when the man was near a power pole while filling the tank.

The electric shock proved fatal, leading to the cessation of his circulatory and respiratory system.

An autopsy was conducted at the southern forensic medicine department under the orders of the competent public prosecutor to determine the cause of death.
