14-year-old boy stung by scorpion in Amman

A 14-year-old boy was stung Monday evening by a scorpion, according to Roya's correspondent.

Ibrahim Bani Yassin, a snake expert, told Roya that the boy was sitting under a tree in their house located in the town of Dabaa, south of the capital, Amman. The scorpion fell from the tree onto the boy's head, resulting in a sting.

Immediately, the boy's father transferred him to a hospital.

His condition was described as stable.
