A Jordanian drowned Saturday in the city of Salalah in Oman, according to Roya's correspondent.

The correspondent said that the Jordanian citizen was with his 13-year-old son and his friends when the accident occurred. They were swept away by a wave, which resulted in the father's death.

The son was rescued and the necessary first aid was provided to him, and his condition was described as stable.
