A Palestinian teenager lost his life while four others sustained injuries in the early hours of Friday due to gunfire from Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) in Tulkarem camp.

According to the Palestinian News Agency WAFA, 23-year-old Mahmoud Jihad Jarad was fatally shot in the chest by the IOF, while four others suffered injuries to their abdomen, loin, foot, and shoulder.

Jarad was rushed to a nearby hospital in critical condition, but unfortunately, the medical team later pronounced him dead.

The IOF positioned snipers in and around the camp, and they engaged in extensive use of live ammunition, stun grenades, and tear gas in the area's streets and alleys.
