Two Civil Defense officers died during rescue mission in Karak

The Public Security Directorate (PSD) mourned two Civil Defense Directorate (CDD) officers, identified as Ibrahim Hamed Al-Hamayda and Mamoun Issa Al-Khdour, who lost their lives during a rescue mission in the Amra' area in Karak.

The two CDD employees died while attempting to rescue two individuals trapped inside a well, one of whom was successfully pulled out and saved.

According to the PSD's spokesperson, the rescue team worked tirelessly to retrieve the two individuals, managing to save one but, unfortunately, recovering the other lifeless.

Notably, another CDD employee who was involved in the rescue mission is currently receiving medical treatment.

The PSD extended its condolences to the individuals' loved ones and wished a swift recovery to both individuals who are currently hospitalized.
