Prime Minister Bisher Al-Khasawneh issued a circular stipulating that all decisions issued in the implementation of defense orders are deemed null and void.

This comes following the issuance of a royal decree approving the decision of the Council of Ministers on May 7, 2023, to suspend Defense Law No. 13 of 1992 across Jordan, as of May 7, 2023.

Notably, the government issued a total of 36 defense orders and 63 defense communications since the Defense Law came into effect.
