Tuesday, the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply issued 43 fines for facilities and individuals for defense order, and Industry and Trade Law violations.

The ministry conducted a total of 352 field visits to ensure compliance among establishments and individuals.

Five supermarkets, three restaurants and three cafes were fined for not adhering to safety and health measures including wearing face masks and social distancing.

Additionally, inspection teams also fined 23 individuals for non-compliance with defense orders.
