A heartbreaking incident occurred in Jaffa Wednesday night as a Palestinian man lost his life while attempting to rescue his brother from drowning.

According to Roya's correspondent, Ahmed Diriyeh, hailing from the town of Beit Fajar in Bethlehem, tragically drowned during the courageous act to save his brother Khalil Diriyeh at the beach in Jaffa.

The incident becomes even more poignant as Khalil, who was the focus of Ahmed's rescue attempt, was a married man with children.
