Vehicle breakdown in tunnel causes traffic jam

Wednesday, Amman experienced significant traffic jams in the vicinity of Al-Nahda Roundabout following the breakdown of a cargo vehicle inside a tunnel.

Promptly responding to the situation, personnel from the Traffic Department arrived at the scene to implement the required measures.

Earlier, the department announced that two people died and two others were injured after a collision occurred between two vehicles on the Mudawara-Ma'an road.

The deceased were evacuated to Ma'an Governmental Hospital.

According to authorities, the drivers did not abide by the traffic rules.
