Officers from the Civil Defense Directorate (CDD) caught a poisonous snake on the balcony of a house in Al-Rahwa area in Fuheis.

Witnesses said that a specialized team from the CDD rushed to the location and captured the snake, which was identified as a 'Palestine Viper' or 'Daboia Palaestinae.'

According to experts, there are 38 types of snakes in Jordan, 22 of which are non-poisonous, nine have weak venom, and seven are highly poisonous.

Experts said that the Palestine Viper is known for its poisonous bites, noting that they spread very quickly.
