Malaysia declared that the crescent for Dhu al-Hijjah was not sighted, therefore Eid al-Adha in the country will be observed on Thursday, June 29.

Similarly, Brunei has also announced that the crescent cannot be sighted, and Eid al-Adha will also be celebrated on Thursday, June 29.
