The 2.5-kilometer-long Ajloun Cable Car project will start welcoming visitors at its full capacity Friday, as announced by the Jordan Free and Development Zones Group (JFDZG).

The cable car's take-off station is situated within the Ajloun development area, while the landing station is located near Ajloun Castle.

A total of 40 aerial cabins will be in operation and could be increased to 60. Each of the cabin can fit eight people.

The Ministry of Public Works and Housing concluded the project at the end of 2022.

In turn, the JFDZG's Chairman of the Board of Directors Khalaf Al-Hmaisat said tickets will be sold for JD4 for Jordanians and JD8 for non-Jordanians. Additionally, children under three years of age ride for free.

The ministry said earlier that the project was built in accordance with the highest international engineering standards and within the specified time periods.
