Israeli Occupation blocks access to Yabad for second day
For the second consecutive day, the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) continued to block roads to the town of Yabad in Jenin, as reported by the Palestinian news agency WAFA.
In addition to sealing off access roads, the IOF shut down the two related military checkpoints, according to security sources.
IOF soldiers raided several homes and shops in Yabad and then seized surveillance cameras.
The head of the Education Directorate in Jenin Salam Taher said approximately 360 high school students could not get to an exam venue forcing the Education Ministry to open halls in other towns.
Yabad mayor Amjad Atatra said after closures Tawjihi students from Yabad, who were supposed to sit for vocational or industrial exams, were not able to leave and sit for them.
