A two-year-old Palestinian and his father were injured by Israeli Occupation Forces' (IOF) gunfire Thursday night during an IOF ambush in the village of Nabi Saleh in Ramallah, as reported by the Palestinian news agency WAFA.

A local activist Bilal Tamimi said the IOF laid an ambush for a vehicle at the entrance to the village, and as soon as the vehicle approached them, soldiers opened fire at the vehicle injuring a toddler and his father in their home nearby.

The toddler was injured with a gunshot in his head and the father in his arm.

The toddler and his father were rushed to nearby hospitals to receive the necessary medical treatment.
