Wagner chief announces complete capture of Bakhmut

20-05-2023 19:38|Saturday, the head of Russia's Wagner mercenary group announced the complete capture of the east Ukrainian town of Bakhmut, AFP reported.
"Today on May 20, around mid-day, Bakhmut was taken in its entirety," Yevgeny Prigozhin said in a video posted on Telegram.
The clip shows fighters behind him holding the Russian flag and surrounded by ruins.
