Jordanian pilot Nadeen Qatameen became the first Arab female flight instructor in Spain's Canary Islands, according to the announcement she made on Facebook.

Ever since she was a child, she dreamed about becoming a pilot and 'could not imagine herself doing anything else.'

In school, she excelled academically which put her under a lot of pressure to pursue a 'more realistic' career, but she persevered and made her dream come true.

In terms of education, Qatameen got a Bachelor's degree in engineering from the University of Debrecen in Hungary, as well as completed a Professional Pilot program.

Before that, she went to King's Academy and Aqaba International School.
