Friday, hundreds of Jordanians took part in a demonstration in front of the Jordan University Mosque in Amman to show their support for the Palestinian people on 'Quds Day.'

Demonstrators affirmed their trust in the Hashemite guardianship of Islamic and Christian sanctities, denouncing the Israeli Occupation's aggression toward Palestinians and the 'unjustified restrictions' imposed on them.

Notably, Quds Day, also known as Jerusalem Day, is an annual event during which people express their disapproval of the Israeli Occupation’s actions and aggression, through demonstrations in solidarity with the Palestinian people.

Arab and Islamic countries around the world celebrate Quds Day including Iran, which was the first country to propose the occasion.
