The Lebanese Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, Abdallah Bou Habib, instructed the Lebanon Permanent Mission to the United Nations in New York to submit an official complaint to the UN Security Council, following the bombing and the deliberate Israeli Occupation assault on areas in southern Lebanon on Friday morning.
The minister said that the attack constitutes a flagrant violation of Lebanon's sovereignty and a flagrant violation of UN Security Council Resolution 1701, as well as threatens the stability that the Lebanese south enjoyed.
He added, in a statement on Twitter, that the decision to submit a complaint came after consultation with Prime Minister Najib Mikati.
