Messi to visit Saudi Arabia in March

Lionel Messi will be visiting Saudi Arabia later this month, as announced by the Kingdom's Minister of Tourism Ahmed al-Khateeb Wednesday and reported by Alarabiya.

Khateeb tweeted: “I am happy to welcome our Tourism Ambassador and star Lionel Messi and his family and friends this month on his second visit to Saudi to enjoy our most beautiful tourism destinations, connect with our people and enjoy unique experiences!”

The Argentinian footballer's last visit to the Kingdom was back in May last year, after being named Saudi Arabia's Tourism Ambassador.

During that trip, he toured Jeddah during the Jeddah Season festival, which received hundreds of thousands of visitors in two months.
