Thursday, the Jordanian Hashemite Charity Organization sent a 14-truck convoy carrying humanitarian aid to Syria to be delivered to the Syrian Red Crescent.

In coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates as well as the Jordanian Armed Forces, the organization sent blankets, mattresses, generators, health packages, foodstuffs and medical supplies.

The items included were chosen based on the list of needs provided by the concerned authorities for disaster management in Damascus.

The Secretary General of the Jordanian Hashemite Charity Organization Hussein Al-Shibli expressed his appreciation for the efforts of Jordanians and their contributions by providing cash and other donations.

According to Shibli, this brings the total number of trucks sent by land to 75 since the beginning of the campaign.
