Friday, three people were rescued after getting trapped in an empty water well in Irbid.

The spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate (PSD) said three members of one family got stuck in a 5-meter-deep well in Al-Shajara area, after they got in to clean and fix it.

The spokesperson added that all three individuals suffered from breathing difficulties and were transferred to the Ramtha Governmental Hospital.

Notably, they are currently in stable/moderate health condition.
