Approximately 120 food poisoning cases have been reported in Jerash, including two children, according to Roya's correspondent Wednesday.

Two cases are still receiving treatment at the Jerash Governmental Hospital, while the rest of the cases were provided with the necessary medical treatment and then discharged, according to the director of the hospital Sadiq Al-Atoum.

Atoum told Roya that the majority of patients suffered from a stomach ache, vomiting and a fever.

All the required laboratory tests will be conducted for them and their health conditions will be monitored, he added.

The Jodan Food and Drug Administration (JFDA) had shut down a fast food restaurant in Jerash Tuesday, as a precaution, after a significant number of people reported feeling ill after eating from that restaurant.
