Palestine’s baseball team qualified for the final game of the West Asia Cup, which includes teams from Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Nepal and Palestine.

This came after they defeated Bangladesh in the semi-finals scoring (14-3).

This is the first time Palestine participated abroad since the team was formed back in 2017.

Palestine ended the Group B category games, which was held in Islamabad in Pakistan, winning all four games it participated in.

The team will play against the winner of the Pakistan-Sri Lanka game in Group A for the final game, which will take place in Islamabad Wednesday.

The Palestinian team includes athletes living in the US and from the Gaza Strip.

The team is led by coaches Abdel Rahman al-Ghoula, Ayman Abdullah and Kayed Yassin.
