Saudi Arabia’s Yasser Al-Shahrani undergoes new surgery after injury

Yasser Al-Shahrani, the Saudi national team player, underwent facial surgery on Sunday after he was injured last Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2022, during a match against Argentina.

Shahrani collided with his goalkeeper Mohammed Al-Owais during the match.

The surgery, which was a success, took place in King Abdulaziz Medical City in Riyadh.

Shahrani also had an operation on his pancreas a day after the match.

On Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2022, Saudi Arabia’s national team made history by defeating Argentina after striking two goals against one.
