New British Prime Minister reveals top three priorities

The British Prime Minister Liz Truss revealed her top three priorities in her first speech made on Tuesday on 10 Downing Street.

Truss announced that improving the economy, dealing with the energy crisis, and the improvement of the national public health system are her main priorities.

She also vowed that her country “can ride out the storm” of the cost of living crisis.

“We will transform Britain into an aspiration nation with high-paying jobs, safe streets and where everyone everywhere has the opportunities they deserve. I will take action this day and action every day to make it happen,” she said.
