Saturday, the Minister of Education and Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Wajih Owais, said that the academic year 2022/2023 remains on schedule despite the current heatwave.

Owais told Roya that the first semester will begin, as scheduled, on Wednesday, Aug. 31 and the teaching staff started working last Wednesday, Aug. 24.

According to the calendar, the first semester ends with tests lasting 14 days, which are scheduled to start on Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2022 lasting until Thursday, Dec. 29, 2022, followed by the winter holiday.

The second semester is scheduled to end with tests lasting for 17 days starting on Saturday June 3, 2023 lasting until Wednesday, June 21, 2023, followed by the summer holiday.
