IMAGES: King Abdullah II and Crown Prince visit Umm Al Jimal archaeological site

His Majesty King Abdullah II, accompanied by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein, visited the Umm Al Jimal archaeological site, the Royal Hashemite Court (RHC) announced Wednesday.

The King stressed the importance of developing the site to promote it as a potential World Heritage Site, attract more visitors, and support the local community.

During the visit, His Majesty spoke with the founders of the "Hand by Hand Heritage Umm Al-Jimal” initiative.
