Authorities rescue 12-year-old girl from drowning in Aqaba

A 12-year-old girl was rescued from drowning in the Ghandour beach in Aqaba, according to the media spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate (PSD) Wednesday.

The spokesperson added that the girl had lost consciousness and that her heart stopped beating. The paramedics rushed to the scene and were able to save her life.

She was transferred to Prince Hashim Military Hospital to receive treatment.

Her condition is stable now.
