Jordan records 14 deaths and 6,520 new coronavirus cases
Jordan records 14 deaths and 6,520 new coronavirus cases

Jordan recorded 14 deaths and 6,520 new coronavirus cases Tuesday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 1,638,228.

The death toll has risen to 13,849.

The cases are:

-2,694 in Amman

-1,000 in Irbid

-546 in Balqa

-433 in Zarqa

-325 in Karak

-316 in Madaba 

-308 in Mafraq

-256 in Tafilah

-220 in Jerash

-154 in Ajloun

-141 in Aqaba

-66 in Ramtha

-46 in Ma'an

-15 in Petra 

A total 122 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 126 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are 694 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

There are a total of 77,950 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 33,572 PCR tests were conducted.

Tuesday, 19.42 percent of PCR tests came back positive in comparison to 20.76 percent Monday.
