Jordan recorded 22 deaths and 18,477 new coronavirus cases Tuesday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 1,508,950.

The death toll has risen to 13,554.

The cases are:

-7,866 in Amman

-3,017 in Irbid

-2,368 in Zarqa

-1,057 in Balqa

-917 in Karak

-577 in Madaba

-568 in Mafraq

-512 in Aqaba

-427 in Ajloun

-423 in Jerash

-388 in Tafilah

-176 in Ma'an

-143 in Petra

-38 in Ramtha

A total 240 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 224 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are 1,234 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

There are a total of 188,981 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 69,245 PCR tests were conducted.

Tuesday, 26.68 percent of PCR tests came back positive in comparison to 27.86 percent Monday.
