Jordan recorded 22 deaths and 12,826 new coronavirus cases Wednesday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 1,177,165.

The toll has risen to 13,124.

The cases are:

-6,783 in Amman

-1,529 in Zarqa

-1,346 in Irbid

-820 in Balqa

-418 in Madaba

-394 in Karak

-321 in Ajloun

-302 in Jerash

-297 in Mafraq

-230 in Aqaba

-182 in Ramtha

-142 in Ma'an

-61 in Tafilah

-One in Petra

A total 187 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 149 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are 734 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

There are a total of 66,865 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 56,913 PCR tests were conducted.

Tuesday, 22.54 percent of PCR tests came back positive in comparison to 22.98 percent Monday.
