Amid the presence of a large crowd of Indian food lovers, Ambassador of India to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, H.E. Anwar Haleem inaugurated Wednesday, the week-long Indian Food Festival at the most visible and popular Indian Restaurant in Jordan: Rakoon Indian at Jubeiha, Amman.

The festival, being organized by the Embassy of India in collaboration with Rakoon Indian restaurant, is part of grand celebrations of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav (75th year of India's independence) and 73rd Republic Day of India. The festival will run from January 25-31, 2022.

Speaking on this occasion, the Ambassador conveyed his best wishes to the organizers of this successful event that will strengthen communication between the Indian and Jordanian peoples and highlight the richness of Indian cuisine and culture to our friends in Jordan.
