Saturday, the Ministry of Water and Irrigation, Water Authority of Jordan, Jordan Water Company Miyahuna and the company operating the Disi water line (Diwaco) announced their intention to temporarily suspend pumping Disi water starting from Sunday morning, Nov. 21, until Thursday evening, Nov. 25.

The ministry said in a statement that this comes in order to carry out periodic and annual maintenance to preserve the sustainability of water pumping to all regions across the Kingdom.

The ministry indicated that the programmed suspension of water pumping will partially affect specific areas in the capital Amman and Zarqa governorate.
