A security source revealed Tuesday that the man, who killed two young men and injured another in Irbid, was born in 1997, and he is a drug user who is banned from traveling. Additionally, he has a number of criminal charges issued against him.

According to information which Roya received, on Monday evening, at 4pm, security forces received information about a quarrel which occurred between the perpetrator and three individuals in Palestine Street in Irbid.

Following the dispute the perpetrator stabbed to death two of his friends and injured the third individual.

Those killed were two brothers, one of them born in 1981 and the other in 1986, and the injured is their father.

The security forces were able to arrest the perpetrator and seize the weapon he had with him.

During interrogations, the killer confessed that he had stabbed the above-mentioned people, following previous disputes between them which occurred about a year ago.

The Public Prosecutor of Irbid Mohammed Naseer was informed of the incident and ordered the two bodies to be transferred to the forensic medicine department at the Badia Hospital to determine the cause of death.

Monday, two people died and another was injured after he was stabbed during a fight which occurred in Irbid, according to a security source.
