Sunday, the Minister of Interior, Mazen Al Farayeh, decided to implement new decisions for the purpose of facilitating the procedures for entering the territory of the Kingdom and with the aim of supporting the Jordanian economy in all sectors, especially the tourism sector, due to its positive effects on the labor market and creating new job opportunities for Jordanian citizens, according to Petra News Agency.

Al Farayeh decided to lift the restriction on nationals from Albania and Moldova, so that they are granted entry visas through diplomatic missions abroad or through border posts upon arrival without the need for prior approval.

The minister decided to allow tourist groups of restricted nationalities (Nigeria, the Philippines, Colombia, and Pakistan) to enter the Kingdom without the need for prior approval, provided that they enter within a tourist group of no less than five people and within an approved tourist program, as well as enter and exit from the country within an approved manifest with guarantees of departure from tourist offices.

Tourist groups of Libyan nationality are now allowed to enter the Kingdom without the need for prior approval, provided that they enter within a tourist group of no less than five people and within an approved tourist program, as well as enter and exit from the country within an approved manifest with guarantees of departure from tourist offices, according to Petra News Agency.

Al Farayeh also decided to allow tourist groups of Syrian nationality to enter the Kingdom after tourist offices duly submit an application to the Ministry of Interior, and the tourism office pledges that these groups would adhere to the pre-prepared tourist program, and keep their passports with the tourist offices that brought them in until they leave the country.
