Tuesday, Jordan’s Interior Minister, Mazen Faraya, instructed the authorities to renew annual foreign investors' residence permits for investors, company owners, and partners, as well as their family members on the same day of the applicants' submissions.

It was reported that the purpose of this decision was to encourage investment in Jordan and maintain existing investment, by saving time and efforts involved in the process.
