The Iraqi Embassy in Amman expressed its appreciation for the decision of the Jordanian Ministry of Interior to approve the arrival and departure of Iraqi students through Al Karama-Trebil border crossing with their own cars.

The embassy said in a statement Monday that the Iraqi Minister of Interior Othman Al-Ghanimi held a meeting with the Jordanian Minister of Interior Mazen Al-Faraya, in the presence of the Iraqi Ambassador in Amman Haider Al-Adhari and his accompanying delegation, during which they discussed the importance of strengthening cooperation in the security field between the two ministries, in addition to ways to improve the level of exchanging experiences in all fields.

During the meeting, it was decided to allow Iraqi students studying in Jordanian universities and institutes who have annual residencies to enter and leave the Kingdom using their own cars through Al Karama-Trebil border crossing, and within the approved health conditions.
