VIDEO: Palestinians hold funeral for Jordanian soldier

Monday, Palestinians held a funeral at al Aqsa Mosque for the Jordanian soldier whose remains were found in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in occupied Jerusalem three weeks ago.

The soldier's remains will be buried in the Islamic graveyard in the city of Jerusalem, Bab al Asbat cemetery.

It is believed the soldier was martyred during the 1967 war near the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood where his remains were found during an excavation related to the light rail project in occupied Jerusalem.

Next to the remains a knife, a ring, a helmet and a gas mask were found belonging to the Jordanian Army.

The identity of the martyr is still unknown.
